The LW001-BG supports both indoor and outdoor positioning. In indoor scenarios, the LW001-BG can be positioned indoors via wifi and Bluetooth technology

Movement Trigger Management

The LW001-BG has a built-in high-performance tri-axis acceleration sensor.

Idle detection

If the LW001-BG is not moved for a long time, and beyond the set idle timeout, the device will send idle payload to remind the user of the current idle status.

Fragile and valuable goods protection

When LW001-BG is used to track fragile goods, valuable items or other things.

Local data back-up for uplink payloads

In weak signal areas, download local data via bluetooth or LoRa Command.

High Precision GPS

GPS and GLONASS positioning systems are used simultaneously with a 72 channel high sensitivity receiver (-167dBm) for enhanced accuracy and faster fixes.

Off-the-Shelf Batteries

Powered by 3 x AA Off-the-Shelf Lithium or LTC Batteries for enhanced temperature tolerance and increased battery life.

Temperature Tolerance

The Oyster2 can be powered with optional Lithium Thionyl Chloride (LTC) batteries for enhanced temperature tolerance and increased battery life.

Advanced Geofencing

Create custom geofences and alerts if an asset enters or leaves specific locations. Geofences can also be downloaded directly to the device for enhanced location.

Periodic or Movement-Based

Configure devices to send updates based on set time intervals (1x, 3x, 5x a day, etc.,) or when movement occurs.

Sleep Mode

Stationary devices enter sleep mode, switching the update rate to only twice per day until movement occurs to conserve battery life and optimize data usage.
